與青島釣魚臺一街之隔的是元帥樓，元帥樓也是一幢日式建筑，但與青島釣魚臺不同的卻是紅瓦黃墻的“青島風格”，由于共和國的十大元帥中有五位曾在這里下榻過，故得名元帥樓。相傳文革時期江青也在這里住過。另外，公主樓、宋家花園、朱德別墅、義聚合別墅等等也是十分有特色的建筑。

八大關是來青島必看的景點之一，用時大約一上午或大半天，如果有興趣的話可以從您的“下榻處”出發(fā)時帶上午餐在八大關優(yōu)美的環(huán)境里野餐一下，不過要注意保持環(huán)境衛(wèi)生。吃完中飯可步行去第一海水浴場洗個海澡（第二海水浴場平時不開放），這樣不僅省去了到處找飯店浪費時間，而且不會景點的飯店宰。去八大關可以乘26、31等公交車到“武勝關路”下車。
